Stylish & Functional: Designing with Sloped Ceilings

Slope ceilings can feel tricky, but they’re also full of potential. In this project, custom joinery was key to using every angle efficiently, creating a space that’s both practical and stylish.

To soften the clean, modern lines of the built-ins, we paired them with mid-century furniture. The darker wood tones add warmth and depth, giving the room an elegant, timeless feel.

Decorated in darker colours, the loft has a masculine touch and it’s designed for both comfort and function. There’s a cozy reading corner, plenty of storage in the custom wardrobe, and practical details like a valet and bookshelf.

A wood ceiling fan ties the design together—both as an eye-catching design feature and a smart way to keep the space cool during hot summer nights.
